Miya’s Foundations. is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit, organization, headquartered in Avon, Indiana USA.
We focus in the areas of providing school supplies, new and gently used shoes, clothing and toys to children and their families in Sierra Leone. During our yearly distribution in Sierra Leone, we also provide food to participants. Miya’s Foundation also distributes hygiene care packages to homeless military veterans in Indianapolis Indiana.
Major attention is given to helping the people get on their feet and manage their own future. Care is given not to create dependency through aid packages, and many of its programs have incentives built into them to move the recipients to independent and self-sustainable life styles.
Miya’s Foundation crosses all religious, civil, community, ethical, tribal and social lines in its effort to assist all members needing help in the society.
Every child should be able to realize their full potential and grow up to build a better world; with this in mind, Miya’s Foundation partner with local communities and businesses to provide books and school supplies to those who need the most.
The Bra Project provides new and gently used bras to young girls and women in Sierra Leone where access to bras is limited. By donating bras or funds to Miya’s Foundation, individuals and businesses directly impact and support women in Sierra Leone.
Miya’s Foundation in partnership with local communities and businesses distribute care packages to veterans which help them get the basic needed items they need year-round and improve morale and well-being.
Your Donation will help Miyas's Foundation help others. We will be able to pay for shipping, handling and clearing to Sierra Leone. Your Donation will also help us purchase things that are not donated in order to help those in need.
